Exploring ever deeper into the wonderful world of knits, I came up with this jacket design. The body is made from hand-dyed fleeceback knit, and the ruffled insets are made of a delightfully patterned woven cotton. Like all of my favorite designs, the idea came to me in a dream. The original had an inset ruffle down the centerback instead of at the shoulder, but after I had completed my first fitting muslin I decided to redesign. Many pattern drafts later I had finalized this design.
Special thanks to May Yen for sharing her astounding beauty with us.
